I've seen this all over Pinterest and had to try it with Penny...I love how she is so defiantly un-lovey...even looking at the hearts like they are crazy for being up there hoping she'll cooperate.  Even as a baby, we said that penny was the epitome of Sugar and Spice, but definitely on the spicier side.  I LOVE HER SO MUCH, my little cranky pants!

BTW, this isn't from yesteday.  You'll start to notice that Penny lives in Lu's old tu-tu.  She wears it 98% of the time.

Waiting for the Grand Entrance.  At least once a day, I get a performance on a grand scale.  It's Penn's ballet recitals or Lu's Jazz/Hip Hop/Gymnastic routines or Tripp's karate dance or Wes spinning in circles... I sit in the audience and wait for the star to make his/her grand entrance.  This was Penny's turn and Tripp was waiting patiently for his turn next.

Haircut. Mommy gave Tripp a hair cut yesterday.  This is daddy's job, but I couldn't wait any longer...so, I grabbed hold of the clippers and 5 minutes later this happened.  My goal was to do a slight trim around the ears with the beard trimmer...oops...  I suppose I could cut some cool lines on the side and make it look intentional Vanilla Ice style :)

I wish I could say that I found her sitting here with the light hitting her face just so...but I made her sit there and she was not happy about it.  I'd like to title this Mysterious, but it's more like Annoyed.

Maybe one day I'll understand boys and bugs...or boys and anything gross for that matter.  He's drawn to "boy things" like flies to trash...I should tell him about flies and trash, he'd probably love it!

She's getting so big...it's funny to me that the mark of age is learning to do something so silly as Hula Hoop.  It was one of the most exciting things I've seen in a while...

Today we had a playdate with my BFF Katy and her adorable little girls...It's as much a playdate for the mommies as it is for the little ones.  I swear, when Katy came over I had a headache and was mean-mommy.  10 minutes of eating peanut M&Ms and laughing my head-off and my headache was cured...friends are the best.
